Tongshang Hong Kong is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarina Cheung as a Consultant in its Global Private Wealth and Family Office practice.

Sarina specialises in wills and probate, trust management, mental health law, and litigation. Her expertise encompasses both contentious and non-contentious trust and probate matters, along with succession and wealth planning.

Before joining Tongshang Hong Kong, Sarina was a consultant at an independent local firm for 2 years and spent 3 years at a leading international law firm. Her extensive hands-on experience in the private banking sector includes 11 years as the head of the probate services department at a well-established global trust and banking corporation in Hong Kong.

Sarina's diverse background in wealth management and banking sectors position her as a valuable asset to our team. By bringing Sarina on board, we are committed to enhancing our team to ensure we continue to expand our offerings for our clients.

On 6 September 2024, Eric Chow & Co. in Association with Commerce & Finance Law Offices (“Tongshang Hong Kong”), together with our PRC office, Commerce & Finance Law Offices (“Tongshang”), jointly represented Huajin Corporate Finance (International) Limited and Yue Xiu Capital Limited (the “Joint Sponsors”) and the underwriters of Guangdong Syntrust Gk Testing and Certification Tech Service Center Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 08629.HK) in its listing on GEM of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong by way of share offer.

Guangdong Syntrust Gk Testing and Certification Tech Service Center Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the provision of construction engineering testing and inspection services, serving customers in Maoming, Guangdong Province of China.

Tongshang and Tongshang Hong Kong acted as the PRC and Hong Kong legal advisors, respectively, to the Joint Sponsors and the underwriters for this listing.
Tongshang Hong Kong team was led by Managing Partner Eric Chow and Partner Brandon Chow. Other team members include Associate Evelyn Cheung, Legal Manager Annie Qiu, Trainee Solicitor Hans Kang, and supported by Paralegals Sylvia Liu and Patrick Liu.

On 10 July 2024, Eric Chow & Co. in Association with Commerce & Finance Law Offices (“Tongshang Hong Kong”) represented the Sole Sponsor and the Underwriters of Ruichang International Holdings Limited (“Ruichang International”, Stock Code: 01334.HK) in its listing and global offering on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The offering has raised approximately HK$173.8 million. First Shanghai Capital Limited acted as the sole sponsor in the transaction.

Ruichang International is a petroleum refinery and petrochemical equipment manufacturer based in Henan Province, the PRC.

Tongshang Hong Kong acted as the Hong Kong legal advisor to the Sole Sponsor First Shanghai Capital Limited and the Underwriters in this listing. The listing of Ruichang International has been the fourth IPO projects successful completed by Tongshang Hong Kong this year. Tongshang Hong Kong remains the No. 1 legal adviser among PRC associated firms in the Hong Kong IPO league table by deal count in the past six months (through May 2024), according to Ryanben Capital.

On 3 July 2024, Eric Chow & Co. in Association with Commerce & Finance Law Offices (“Tongshang Hong Kong”), together with our PRC office, Commerce & Finance Law Offices (“Tongshang”), jointly represented the Sole Sponsor and the Underwriters of Xi’an Kingfar Property Services Co., Ltd. (“Kingfar Property”, Stock Code: 01354.HK) in its listing and global offering of H shares on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The offering has raised approximately HK$125 million. CEB International Capital Corporation Limited acted as the sole sponsor in the transaction.

Kingfar Property is a state-owned comprehensive city service and property management service provider in Shaanxi Province with presence in Northwest China.

Tongshang and Tongshang Hong Kong acted as the PRC and Hong Kong legal advisors, respectively, to the Sole Sponsor CEB International Capital Corporation Limited and the Underwriters in this listing. The listing of Kingfar Property marks the successful completion of the third IPO projects undertaken by the collaboration between Tongshang and Tongshang Hong Kong this year. Tongshang Hong Kong remains the No. 1 legal adviser among PRC associated firms in the Hong Kong IPO league table by deal count in the past six months (through May 2024), according to Ryanben Capital.
