We are delighted to announce that two of our Partners, Christy Leung and Frank Fu , have been recognised on the LexisNexis®️ 40 UNDER 40 for the 2025 Hong Kong SAR List.

Christy, Head of our disputes desolution practice at Tongshang Hong Kong, has over 13 years of experience advising on contentious regulatory matters and commercial disputes. She has advised investment banks, financial institutions, listed companies, licensed corporations and company directors in regulatory and criminal investigations and proceedings brought by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx) and the Hong Kong Police Force. She has also acted in a broad range of civil/commercial litigation matters before the Hong Kong courts and arbitral tribunals, including but not limited to shareholder disputes, boardroom disputes, contractual disputes, private equity investment related disputes, insolvency matters, and judicial review proceedings.

Frank heads our investment funds practice. A seasoned expert with over a decade of experience, he specializes in advising financial institutions and asset managers on the structuring, formation, and regulatory compliance issues. Frank also has extensive experience representing sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors in their investments across the private funds landscape.

We are delighted to announce the addition of Bonnie Yung as a Partner at Tongshang Hong Kong. Bonnie has extensive experience in general corporate matters and corporate finance transactions, including representing issuers and underwriters in both public and private equity securities offerings in Hong Kong, representing public and private companies and investors in Hong Kong in takeovers, private mergers and acquisitions, and privatisations, and providing legal advice on other transactions under the governance of the Hong Kong Listing Rules and Takeovers Code. She also advises Hong Kong listed companies on post listing regulatory compliance matters and provides legal advice and services on Hong Kong general commercial and corporate matters.

Bonnie has more than 20 years of legal industry experience. She has been involved in numerous initial public offerings in Hong Kong of companies covering a wide spectrum of industries, including information technology, real estate, financial services, retail, manufacturing, and mining numerous, and also mergers and acquisitions of listed and private companies in Hong Kong. Before joining the firm, Bonnie was a partner with Han Kun Law Offices LLP and Mayer Brown. Prior to that, she had been a partner with Paul Hastings, a firm where she spent more than eight years.

Tongshang Hong Kong is excited to announce the appointment of Chi-Ho Kwan as Partner in its Dispute Resolution practice. Mr. Kwan brings over a decade of experience in international arbitration and complex litigation in Greater China region and Asia. He has extensive experience in representing companies, equity funds and high net-worth individuals in high-stake shareholder and contractual disputes. Mr. Kwan is a Solicitor Advocate of the Hong Kong Courts with full right of audience in Hong Kong Courts in respect of civil matters. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and is listed as an arbitrator with various arbitral institutions, including the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), Asia International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) and Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB).

On 23 June 2025, Eric Chow & Co. in Association with Commerce & Finance Law Offices (“Tongshang Hong Kong”), together with our PRC office, Commerce & Finance Law Offices (“Tongshang”), jointly represented Bayzed Health Group Inc. (“Bayzed Health,” Stock Code: 02609.HK) in its listing and global offering on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Tongshang Hong Kong also acted as the drafting counsel in this IPO. The offering has raised approximately HK$561.7 million. CMB International Capital Limited acted as the sole sponsor for this listing.

Bayzed Health is a leading oncology healthcare group primarily engaged in investing in and providing medical and healthcare services in the PRC. In 2023, the group was recognized as one of the “Top 100 Autumn GAHA Hospital Competitiveness Medical Institutions” among hospital groups established by social capital.

The Tongshang Hong Kong team, which also acted as drafting counsel for this IPO, was led by Managing Partner Eric Chow and Partner Brandon Chow, Counsels Jessie Cheung and Kevin Tian, Senior Legal Manager Laura Zhang and Legal Manager Ziwei Qiu.
