Featuring over 160 case studies, the publication highlights how Hong Kong’s professional services sectors support Mainland enterprises at every stage of their international expansion. It also emphasizes the value of engaging legal and other professional advisers early in the project planning process to enable effective risk management from the outset.

Tongshang and Tongshang Hong Kong represented the Joint Sponsors and Underwriters of Shaanxi Micot Pharmaceutical Technology Co Ltd (“MICOT PHARMA-B”, Stock Code: 02335.HK) in its global offering and listing on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The gross proceeds of the global offering is HKD 1.1 billion. CCB International Capital Limited and China Merchants Securities (HK) Co., Limited acted as the Joint Sponsors for this listing.

MICOT PHARMA-B, is a China-based biopharmaceutical company principally engaged in the research and development of innovative drugs. The Company focuses on the research and development of new drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, and inflammatory pain-related diseases. It is also the first innovative drug developer focused on a peptide-based technology platform to list under Chapter 18A of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, and the first Chapter 18A biotech company from Northwest China to go public.

Tongshang Hong Kong is pleased to announce that Xiaoming Zhong has joined the firm as a partner in its Debt Capital Markets (DCM) practice. This strategic appointment marks a significant step forward in enhancing our service offerings across both local and international capital markets.

Prior to joining Tongshang Hong Kong, Xiaoming was with the Magic Circle firm Linklaters, with more than a decade of solid experience in the DCM sector.

He has a proven track record of advising on high-profile, landmark bond issuances, regulatory capital instruments and equity-linked bonds. Xiaoming has led several ‘first-of-its-kind’ transactions, including landmark digitally native bond issuances and cross-border FTZ bond projects, alongside a deep specialisation in liability management transactions, enabling clients to effectively steer through increasingly complicated financial landscapes.
