Tongshang Hong Kong strengthens its Debt Capital Markets Practice with the arrival of Xiaoming Zhong
Tongshang Hong Kong is pleased to announce that Xiaoming Zhong has joined the firm as a partner in its Debt Capital Markets (DCM) practice. This strategic appointment marks a significant step forward in enhancing our service offerings across both local and international capital markets.
Prior to joining Tongshang Hong Kong, Xiaoming was with the Magic Circle firm Linklaters, with more than a decade of solid experience in the DCM sector.
He has a proven track record of advising on high-profile, landmark bond issuances, regulatory capital instruments and equity-linked bonds. Xiaoming has led several ‘first-of-its-kind’ transactions, including landmark digitally native bond issuances and cross-border FTZ bond projects, alongside a deep specialisation in liability management transactions, enabling clients to effectively steer through increasingly complicated financial landscapes.
Eric Chow, Managing Partner of Tongshang Hong Kong, welcomed Xiaoming to join the firm: "We are delighted to welcome Xiaoming to the firm. His exceptional technical expertise and deep-rooted insights into the market will significantly reinforce our DCM capabilities. Furthermore, his decade-long track record handling international transactions in Asian debt markets will instantly elevate our cross-border advisory capabilities.”
The addition of Xiaoming, alongside our recent partner hire Shan Jiang from Linklaters in May, reinforces the overall depth and bench strength of our DCM team. Together, these high-profile appointments reflect Tongshang Hong Kong’s unwavering commitment to investing in and expanding our comprehensive capital markets practice.
