Tongshang Hong Kong is pleased to announce the appointment of Connie Cheung as a Senior Consultant, enhancing the firm's capabilities in corporate governance, regulatory compliance and listed company advisory services.

Connie brings over 20 years of experience advising listed issuers, financial institutions, investment banks and private equity firms on equity capital markets transactions, M&A, takeovers, regulatory compliance and general corporate matters. She is widely recognised for her expertise in advising listed companies on regulatory compliance, corporate governance and ongoing obligations under Hong Kong's securities and corporate law framework.

Prior to joining Tongshang Hong Kong, Connie spent nearly eight years at Magic Circle firm Freshfields, where she headed up the Listed Companies Advisory practice and advised a portfolio of more than 30 Hong Kong Main Board listed companies on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, disclosure obligations and other strategic legal matters. Earlier in her career, she held positions at leading international law firms, including MinterEllison as a consultant and Jones Day as an associate, advising clients on a broad spectrum of corporate finance and compliance matters.
