Another milestone for Tongshang!

We are pleased to announce the opening of Tongshang’s Guangzhou office on 22 July, marking the firm’s 12th office following our expansion in Chongqing. The new office further reinforces our footprint across Southern China and the Greater Bay Area (GBA), strengthening our integrated regional platform.

The occasion brought together distinguished guests, including Ms. Huang Zhimin, Head of the Lawyers Management Section of Tianhe District Bureau of Justice, and Ms. Mo Zhe, Deputy Director of Tianhe District Lawyers Working Committee, as well as partners and lawyers from our offices across China.

With our teams in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, the Guangzhou office completes a strong presence across the GBA's commercial hubs. We look forward to drawing on our collective expertise and cross-border capabilities to support clients in navigating increasingly complex legal challenges!

Tongshang Hong Kong Managing Partner Eric Chow, spoke today at the seminar "Go Global Through Innovation · Setting Sail from Hong Kong: Global Expansion Pathways for Mainland Enterprises (创科出海·香港启航：内地企业全球化路径)", held at Deloitte Hong Kong office.

Co-hosted by Deloitte China and CityU HK Tech 300, the event brought together business leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss how Hong Kong can serve as a launchpad for mainland enterprises pursuing global growth.

Eric joined a distinguished panel on "Navigating the Key Steps to a Successful Hong Kong Listing," with fellow industry professionals sharing their practical insights on IPO readiness, regulatory considerations, and the factors that contribute to a successful listing journey.

The seminar also featured keynote addresses from representatives of the HKSAR Government's "Go Global Task Force," including members from the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau (ITIB), Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), and the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES), offering valuable perspectives on Hong Kong's role in supporting companies' international ambitions.
